Our recommendation

Remember you can assess up to three times. We recommend that you spend time in your ALEKS Prep and Learning Module and then reassess. Studies have shown that students who use the learning module a minimum of five hours significantly increase their chance of scoring higher on their next assessment.

Math 16A – Math for Life and Environmental Sciences is the recommended mathematics course for your major. You will need to achieve an ALEKS assessment score of 70 or higher in order to enroll in this class.
