Our recommendation

Remember you can assess up to three times. We recommend that you spend time in your ALEKS Prep and Learning Module and then reassess. Studies have shown that students who use the learning modules a minimum of five hours significantly increase their chance of scoring higher on their next assessment.

MATH 19A – Calculus for Science, Engineering & Mathematics I is the recommended course for your major. You will need to achieve an ALEKS assessment score of 75 or higher in order to enroll in this class.
